Our Team
We are a small, but dedicated, team here at RejuvaMed Vein Centre.
Our medical team includes consultant vascular surgeon Mr Vittorio Perricone who provides all leg vein treatments, and our Medical Director consultant doctor Grant McKeating and aesthetics nurse Helen Little both perform treatment for facial veins.
Vittorio Perricone
Consultant Vascular Surgeon
Born in Palermo, Italy, Mr Perricone studied medicine at University Policlinico and graduated with maximum grades in 1992. In 1994 he relocated to the UK and trained in vascular surgery, working in prestigious units in Southampton and Manchester. He also spent a year working in South Africa at the Vascular Unit of Pretoria, where he was appointed lecturer and developed an interest in vascular trauma.
In 2008 Mr Perricone was appointed Consultant at Blackpool Flyde and Wyre NHS Trust and later in 2016 he moved to East Lancashire NHS Trust, where he still provides NHS services.
Mr Perricone has a particular interest in medical education and has lectured in vascular surgery at Salford University and is currently a lecturer at the University of Central Lancashire.
Mr Perricone provides private vascular services at RejuvaMed Vein Centre which include radio-frequency ablation, VenaSeal, phlebectomies (avulsions), sclerotherapy and microsclerotherapy.
Dr Grant McKeating
Medical & Managing Director
Dr Grant McKeating is our Medical Director and cosmetic specialist here at RejuvaMed Vein Centre. He qualified in medicine at The University of Edinburgh in 1989 and gained his doctorate from the same university in 1995. He is also a Fellow of the Royal College of Anaesthetists. He worked as a consultant in anaesthesia and intensive care medicine at Lancashire Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust from 2000 – 2015. He then left the NHS to focus primarily on medical aesthetics and set up the award winning RejuvaMed clinics, although he also still spends time in the operating theatre at local private hospitals. Dr McKeating provides ThermaVein treatment for facial thread veins, or spider veins as they are also commonly known.
Nurse Helen
Nurse Helen qualified as a Registered General Nurse in 1995 before becoming a theatre practitioner within Lancashire Teaching Hospitals. For over 25 years she has gained a wealth of experience and expertise in clinical surgical procedures covering a wide range of specialities from Orthopaedics, ENT, Plastics, General Surgery, Urology, Maxillo Facial and Neurosurgery, and she currently works at Circle Health, BMI Lancaster Hospital alongside her work here at RejuvaMed.
In 2010 Nurse Helen began her advanced training in facial aesthetics and she now works alongside Dr Grant offering medical cosmetic treatments at our Clitheroe clinic as well as assisting Mr Patel for oculoplastic treatments at our CQC registered facility in Clitheroe.
Charlie Mckeating
Director of Operations
I have worked in the healthcare industry for 11 years, moving from Ramsay Healthcare to manage the amazing team at RejuvaMed Vein Centre. Customer service and the patient experience are the focus of my drive to bring you the ultimate in care at the centre. I am responsible for all aspects of the client pathway in the centre, from marketing and social media management, all the way through to following up on our treatments to ensure that all patients are totally satisfied with our service. I also oversee our patients’ charter which highlights what you can expect from us as a valued patient. I am qualified to NVQ level 2 in business administration and level 3 in customer service. When I’m not working, my young son takes up most of my spare time and energy!
Gemma
Operations Manager
I gained my NVQ Level 3 in Beauty Therapy in 2012, and since then I have thoroughly enjoyed working and growing within the industry and following my passion. My career began working on luxury cruise ships offering beauty treatments to passengers, and progressed to working in beauty and spa therapy on my return to solid ground! I strive to offer the best level of customer service possible and consider myself lucky to be able to do so within RejuvaMed Vein Centre.
I believe I have the best of both worlds in my position at the clinic, as I am not only able to greet patients and look after them front of house, but also have the added enjoyment of being able to assist in their treatments, looking after their needs and helping them to say goodbye to their vein problems!
I moved to the Ribble Valley in March 2017 and so in my spare time I enjoy exploring all my lovely new surroundings in the villages and towns, as well as catching up with friends!

Clinic Manager
I joined the RejuvaMed team in early summer 2020 and you’ll find me in the Clitheroe clinic, and I also chaperone and assist our vascular treatments and services within the Vein Centre too!
My skincare and beauty journey began back in Scotland where I grew up. I attended Perth College UHI and graduated in 2015 with a higher national degree, and since then I have worked in spas, salons and skincare environments – and skincare has always been my passion!
Since joining the team at RejuvaMed I have expanded my knowledge and skill set with 3D Lipo, HIFU, HydraFacial, CO2 laser skin resurfacing, ZO Skin Health and I am also the clinics dedicated miraDry practitioner. I find my role at RejuvaMed very rewarding as I get to see skin and body transformations with great results and meet some truly wonderful people!
Outside of the clinic I enjoy spending time with friends and family, exercising and of course, relaxing!
