How Profhilo Works

During Profhilo face treatment, Profhilo is injected into 5 key points just below the surface of the skin across the face or neck. This then disperses across whole skin area to provide an instant hydration boost and smooth out fine lines and wrinkles. Two treatment sessions are required to be carried out no less than 4 weeks apart for effective results.

If you feel that your skin is looking lacklustre, lacking the vitality and hydration it once had and is beginning to sag with age, then a Profhilo face treatment could help to improve this.

Unlike dermal fillers, which add or restore the volume lost with time, Profhilo is an injectable anti-ageing treatment which helps to improve skin laxity and remodel the skin tissues. It is often marketed as a ‘skin booster’, however it also helps to give lift and tighten the skin, so is so much more than that!

The Profhilo face treatment contains one of the highest concentrations of hyaluronic acid (HA) available on the market which, when injected beneath the skin, stimulates the receptors within the cells, boosting hydration and encouraging the natural production of four different types of collagen and elastin.

The Profhilo face treatment can be used for both the face and neck, and there are also Profhilo body treatments available which can help to improve the appearance of the skin on the decolletage, hands, arms and knees.

What is the difference between Profhilo and Dermal Fillers?

When will I see results?

Two treatment sessions are required, after which results can be seen from as little as 4 weeks. Clients can expect to see smoother and tighter skin as well as a noticeable hydrating effect. The results following treatment can last between 6-8 months, although we recommend a single session treatment top-up every 3-4 months to maintain these results.
