Medical Weight Loss Treatment Programme

It’s often a struggle to lose weight, to maintain that weight loss and to shape up afterwards, with stubborn pockets of fat frequently remaining.

Our medical weight loss treatment programme helps with a package of treatments to help to give you back your body confidence.

RejuvaMed offers an in person medical service, which offers immediate and ongoing support in your weight loss journey, unlike online pharmacies.

Weight Loss Programme Process

Step 1 - The Medical Consultation

The first step is a consultation and assessment appointment with our consultant doctor and medical director Dr Grant. If suitable, you will be prescribed a weight loss treatment and medication which you inject yourself weekly with either Mounjaro (the newest medication available) or Wegovy (which is identical to Ozempic).

Step 2 - Dietician Support

In addition to medical treatment, we advise all our patients to see our dietician Mairi, who will help you to review your usual eating habits and devise healthier eating options, to ensure that the weight stays off once lost!

Step 3 - 3D Ultimate Pro / Morpheus8 Body

The final step is a tailored 3D Ultimate Pro or Morpheus8 Body treatment package which uses medical grade body sculpting to help you regain that body confidence, “busting” fat, removing inches and tightening loose skin.

How Prescription Weight Loss Injections Work

The weight loss medications we provide mimic either one hormone (Wegovy) or two hormones (Mounjaro) which reduce appetite and the urge to eat. Recent evidence suggests that Mounjaro may be more effective than Wegovy.

When considering a weight-loss treatment it’s important to make sure that you’re in the right mindset from the beginning. If you don’t feel that you can be fully committed to the programme and are able to give it your all, you’re going to struggle and are more likely to fall at the first hurdle.

The medical weight-loss treatments which we offer at RejuvaMed can help you to transform your body and lose weight, but if you’re not fully committed to changing your mindset and building a good relationship with healthy diet and regular exercise, then the weight you lose on the programme will sadly creep back on. That’s why we also offer support packages from a dietician which can be purchased alongside weight-loss medication, to help you to build a fantastic healthy relationship with food and stay in control of your weight once your weight loss programme ends.

We also offer 3D Lipo body sculpting treatments which can aid weight loss during your treatment programme or can be used as post-programme treatment course to tighten lax skin and further enhance your overall weight-loss results.

As a CQC regulated weight loss centre, we have the skills and expertise to help you along your weight loss journey. We advise patients to ensure that any weight loss treatment is carried out only at a registered weight loss centre.

Frequently Asked Questions

We aim to answer all your questions before your treatment.  If you have any further questions, please do not hesitate to contact us or book a consultation to discuss your personalised treatment.
How often do I have to inject the medication?

We offer either daily or weekly medication. The most suitable type will be discussed with you by Dr Grant.

How much do the treatments cost?
The medication costs from £225 per syringe. A 6 month programme with our dietician is £295.
How do I know if I am suitable?

A consultation with our consultant Dr Grant is required. During this consultation a full assessment will be made, and your suitability assessed. Most patients will be eligible for the programme. A BMI of 30 (27 in some cases) or over is a requirement.

Are the injections painful?

The pens and needles used are identical in type to those used by diabetics. The needle is very fine indeed and the medicine is usually injected into the stomach or hip area. It stings a little but patients usually find it very straightforward.
