What are DESO Face fat dissolving injections?
Deso contains Deoxycholic Acid, which occurs naturally in the body and is involved in the emulsification of fats in the intestine. When administered into tissues in a concentrated form it can destroy the fat cells within that area and the waste products of these cells are then processed and removed from the body via the lymphatic system.
The destruction of these fat cells is permanent, however the remaining cells within the treatment area can enlarge if a healthy diet and lifestyle isn’t followed, meaning that appearance of a double chin could return over time – so it’s important to maintain your post-treatment results with a balanced diet and regular exercise.
How quickly will I see results?
The speed of your results depends on your natural metabolic rate and the speed at which your body adapts to the loss of the treated fat cells. On average, patients can begin to see good visible improvement in the treatment area around 6-weeks post final treatment.
How many treatments will I need?
The number of treatments required for the best results varies from patient to patient and is dependent on the amount of fat within the treatment area, however anything between 2-4 sessions is usually recommended for the most drastic visible results. Treatments for a double chin are carried out a minimum of 4 weeks apart.
