We are delighted to announce that we now offer private dermatology services with Dr Ahsan Raza at our Clitheroe clinic!
Many patients may already know Dr Raza, as he is a GP partner in a local practice and is also a GPwSI (GP with special interest) in dermatology. He now leads the community dermatology team and is an expert on all things ‘skin’!
The NHS is under severe pressure at the moment, and it can sadly take considerable time to be seen by a dermatologist. Many issues are also considered to be ‘cosmetic’ and will therefore not qualify for NHS treatment.
If you have a skin lesion, mole, lump or bump or a skin condition which you’d like to have evaluated by an expert, Dr Raza can see you at RejuvaMed quickly, look at the skin with a dermatoscope if required and plan any further treatment for you. We can also arrange for skin lesions to be removed quickly and safely, under local anaesthetic in our minor surgery operating room. These will then be sent to be checked by a pathologist, with results available in seven days or so, for your peace of mind.
