Skin Tag and Milia Removal
Skin Tags
Skin tags are very common for both men and women and are often found around the armpits, eyelids, back and neck. These tags are small, harmless growths that are usually flesh or brown in colour and hang off the skin.
Milia
Milia is commonly seen in newborn babies, although anybody can be affected with this skin condition at any time. Although harmless, Milia can be unsightly and resemble small blister-like bumps across the skin. These spots can form due to trauma to the sweat ducts, radiation, sunscreen, deficiency of sunlight or clogging of the pores in the skin.
Our Range of Skin Tag and Milia Removal Treatments:
How Skin Tag Removal Works
At our clinic in Clitheroe we offer safe expert removal of skin tags using the ThermaVein® System which cauterizes the tag where it attaches to the skin, at the root. This method causes the tag to shrink and shrivel before falling off naturally, of its own accord. This method of treatment is non-invasive and there is no downtime after the treatment.
The treatment is performed by one of RejuvaMed’s highly trained aestheticians and the number of sessions required is dependent on the number of skin tags to be treated.
How Milia Removal Works
At RejuvaMed Health & Wellness our aestheticians are highly trained in the removal of milia using the ThermaVein® System. This treatment is straight forward, virtually painless and there is no downtime after the treatment. Once Milia has been removed, it is unlikely to return, provided the advice given from the aestheticians is taken into account. The number of treatment sessions required is dependant on the number of milia to be treated.
